I was lucky enough to meet Eva when we were commissioned to work on a project for Gardens Illustrated in 2020. Every year they run a series called Pots of Style and invite a different gardener or designer each year to put together a selection of three different containers or collection of containers throughout the year from March - November. As it turned out of course March 2020 brought the first Covid lockdown but we managed by working outside and both felt lucky to have interesting, creative work we could pursue during the pandemic.

We had five shoot days throughout the year to cover the five different months being featured in the series. They were always days I really looked forward to as Eva’s relaxed approach meant that it never felt like work. We became firm friends and have worked on a number of projects since.
